The theme for the Glamour Awards is all in the name really, and the event, held last night in London, definitely brought out the best in some of our fave faces from the UK and the US.
Jessie J once again ramped up the wow factor with a mirror-like sheen on her slicked back hair, nude lips and glistening grey smokey eyes - we loved her androgynous look. Elsewhere on the red carpet the gorgeous Jessica Alba also went for a slick look. At first we thought it might be a tad boring, but after a second viewing Jessica's sleek look and glowing complexion was undeniably fresh. When it came to Alexandra Burke's hair and makeup we were impressed - red lips, brown smoked-out eyes and a slick side part gave Alex an ultra modern look, that distracted from her unflattering dress.
Someone we really felt for was the stunning Alesha Dixon, who was attending her first Glamour Awards. We totally know the look she was going for: natural waves, glowing skin and a boho beach vibe dress - but none of it worked for us. Her pretty plait at the front of her hair was lost against the rest of her volumised, tousled mane, and her makeup looked washed out. Working the bleach on the red carpet were Paloma Faith and Alice Dellal, but our fave pick of the night was Sofia Vergara. Looking out-of-this-world, the winner of the Comedy Actress award was all glowing skin and matt coral lips, worn with what has to be the shiniest multi-tonal brunette hair we've seen in forever!
