TRESemmé takes on the keratin trend

The Keratin Smooth range, from TRESemmé
The Keratin Smooth range, from TRESemmé

With apparently a third of British women wanting products that smooth and straighten their hair, TRESemmé has brought out its own take on the keratin revolution.

While keratin treatments have been available in-salon for a number of years, more and more haircare brands, both luxury and high street, are investing in keratin technology to make smoother hair a reality at home. Although the results are more short-lived than an in-salon treatment (lasting up to three months), these new treatments are aimed at women that want total smoothness for a particular occasion, or a night out. Infused with keratin and gentle enough to use on colour-treated hair, the new four-product range (shampoo, conditioner, masque and shine spray) promises to repair hair and keep it looking smooth for 48 hours.

Available from July 2012
